Senologic International Society (SIS)

The Society (Soci-t- Internationale de S-nologie) was founded in 1976 by Dr. Charles-Marie Gros, father of the modern breast imaging and forger of the concept of Senology. In this medical society are affiliated more than 60 national societies in breast disease and Senology all around the world.

The Spanish Society of Senology and Breast Diseases (SESPM), founded in 1981, is a is a multidisciplinary society composed of nearly a thousand professionals from different specialties involved in diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. The SESPM's mission is to undertake the study of normal and pathological breast with a global and inclusive approach.
